Connected Lakes State Wildlife Area and the adjacent Audubon Nature Preserve in Grand Junction can offer up a good variety of waterfowl and songbirds during the winter months. This trip allows time at both areas. Meet at Gold’s Gym at the corner of Hillcrest and East Main Street in Montrose at 8:00 AM. At NOON, the group will head back to Montrose.
