Deb Callahan, President of the Friends of the San Luis Valley National Wildlife Refuges will speak about the Alamosa, Baca and Monte Vista refuges, and her group’s efforts to support them with fundraising, education, and events. The group is a sponsor of the popular Monte Vista Crane Days in March of each year.  All are invited to attend, and there is no charge.
